Manufacturing tradition since 1997 — what changed, what didn't

A short story of 28 years of growth, the key decisions, and why we still produce in-house.

We started in 1997 with a plant where pillows were filled by hand. Today we cover 7,000 m² of production and 18,000 m² of warehousing — but the core of the business, hands-on control of every production step, has not changed.

What changed

  • Automated filling and sewing lines replaced manual operations
  • Wider material range — microfibre, sateen, ranforce, OEKO-TEX
  • The larger warehouse lets us ship from stock, not only from production
  • Private label for hotels became a structured offering, not an ad-hoc project

What didn't

We still don't outsource filling, cutting or sewing. Owning the plant means we can hold weight and dimension consistency across years — that's what large hotel chains look for in a long-term supplier.

Quality comes from owning the process — not from controlling the price.

If you'd like a deeper look into individual production stages, we're planning a series on filling, cutting, sewing and QC. Follow the blog.
